NStrails is an independent guide to the provincial parks of Atlantic Canada — New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. It is not a government website and is not affiliated with Parks New Brunswick, ParksNL, Nova Scotia Provincial Parks, or any other public agency.
The four provinces are covered as four equals. Each province has its own page, its own park system, and its own counts — there is no single four-province total, because there is no single park system behind them.
Park information is compiled from official provincial sources, with the source named on each park’s page. Where a figure could not be verified — a distance, a fee, a season date — the page says so or leaves it out rather than guessing. Trail, tide, and fire conditions change; always check official advisories before you travel.
