Information, not advice
Park, trail, tide, weather, and fire information on this site is compiled from official sources but may be delayed or out of date. Conditions change. Always check official park advisories, tide tables, and burn rules before you travel, and follow all posted park rules and closures. In an emergency, call 911.
Accuracy
We publish a figure — a distance, a fee, a season date — only when an official source supports it, and we name the source on the page. Where sources conflict, the page says so. Nothing on this site guarantees that a park, trail, or facility is open or available.
Data and images
Park data is used under the open government licences named on each page (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia), or compiled from official public sources (Prince Edward Island). Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Provincial flags are used as province identifiers only; no provincial coat of arms or official emblem is used on this site. Text on this site is original to NStrails unless a source is named.
