Who we are
NStrails (https://nstrails.ca) is an independent guide to the provincial parks of Atlantic Canada. This page explains what information the site collects when you visit.
What we collect
This site does not offer user accounts or comments, and it does not sell anything. When you visit, the hosting server records standard technical logs (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages visited) for security and site operation.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function and — for signed-in administrators only — cookies that remember login and display choices. We do not use advertising cookies.
Embedded content
Pages on this site include embedded maps from OpenStreetMap and flag images served from Wikimedia Commons. Loading those embeds is like visiting those services, which may record your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal information. Server logs are held by our hosting provider for site operation and security only.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask for it to be erased, except for records we must keep for security or legal reasons. To make a request, email us at support@nstrails.ca.
